Dr Shweta Gautam

I graduated as dentist in India in 2009, and after working for a year in India I moved to Australia. I worked as a dental assistant trainer and was also privileged to assist in a specialist dental surgery in Perth. In 2016, I moved to Christchurch with my family and I completed my dental licensing exam in Melbourne (ADC, 2018). I completed a Master’s course with credit, endorsed in Aesthetic dentistry from the University of Otago, Dunedin in 2019 and I am a member of the New Zealand Dental Association.

I enjoy practising all aspects of general dentistry, especially the “smile design”.

Outside work, I love exploring new places, travelling with my family, meeting new people and making new friends. But for now, most of my spare time is spent answering my wee boy’s queries from his very curious mind. I am enjoying being back amongst my family and friends in Christchurch after being away for two long years.
